Hi, I’m Dena and I started The Glameleon to offer wigs to my friends… no matter their reason for coming to  “The Wig Life.”  I began collecting synthetic wigs to have in my photography studio, just as fun makeover opportunity, and started “playing in wigs” a few years ago. Fast forward to 2022 and I began experiencing hair loss. I fought it for two years and decided at the beginning of 2024 that I would embrace wearing wigs on a daily basis while my hair healed and hopefully grew. I posted about my decision on social media and immediately the interest bloomed!! There were a lot of people out there just like me!  I had so many women reach out about their own struggles with hair loss, that I decided to start offering wigs and advice to those that were just beginning the wig journey. So, welcome to “The Wig Life” friends.. it’s so fun over here!

I have owned a photography studio for over 20 years and started using wigs in some of my portrait sessions a few years ago.  I fell in love with wigs personally in the last 3 years when I started wearing wigs to “change my Glam” in an instant!  I love makeup too, and started a youtube channel to offer makeup tips for my portrait clients, and now to review and teach about the fabulous world of wig wearing!
